OH this is making me crazy!!!!!!!!!!

If we could go back to the CRA's credit cop initiative:

    http://www.cdiaonline.org/mediaroomdocs/VictimDataExchangePressRelease.pdf

This is so hugely important -- the CRA's are in cahoots (well DUH sassy) with the OC's especially in this.

Commonly within the last few months, you'll notice if you DISPUTE with an information furnisher under the FCRA Section 623 provisions, as is our ABSOLUTE right to do. They respond with a fraud affadavit INSTEAD of investigating.

Don't play with them in that sandbox, please!

    Absolute poop that is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No fraud alerts for disputing with the CRA's

No fraud affadavits (that NOTHING requires you to complete anyway) from the furnishers.

Do your damn jobs already reinvestigate and investigate as you are required to do AND enforce that provision already, FTC eyes, instead of enabling!!!!!!!!!!

    Sassy

    AND ADDING THIS:

SUE, GO TO SMALL CLAIMS OR WHEREVER AND SUE. They are to reinvestigate and investigate per the FCRA. They do NOT have the authority to decide a crime has occurred and declare it on our behalf. Don't give them it by playing along!!!!!!

Complain to the BBB and both State's Attorney Generals and the FTC and whoever else can make noise for you.

This is more outrageous by the day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Geez....in my heydey of disputes, I could have ended up with close to a hundred affidavits from the CRA's for each account.

Seems like this is the CRA's response to an increasing amount of disputes by consumers. Just intimidate them with FRAUD affidavits signed under penalty of perjury and maybe they will go away/stop disputing.

Seems like they are graduating in their tactics to avoid FCRA investigations/disputes from refusal to investigate to intimidation tactics.

    Weasles, probably EXP's brainstorm.

    Exactly cinderella, Nodding!

It is the same too, when receiving a fraud affadavit in response to a dispute with the furnisher of information directly.

    Blowing smoke, both of them!
