Hi! Can anyone tell me what these stand for in front of an inquire on reports.
REA, EU, ID - Are they hard or soft inqs?

Also can anyone tell me what or who CBA-Safescan is?

    Thanks,
    Momof5

    Mom of 5,

EU is a soft inquiry for real estate purchases or a preapproval for land/mortgage. It is a soft inquiry and does not affect your score.

An ID is a CRA notation. The CRA pulled your report for a dispute, or for an identification purpose - address, SSN, etc. It is a soft inquiry and does not affect your score.

I have no idea what REA is.

Thank you Dani for filling me in.

Nothing about Electric company on report, thanks the same.

I have no idea what "REA" stand for but after looking over my own report it looks like "REA" is probably a soft inquiry. All the hard inquiries are the names of real companies spelled out.

GEORGE, REA's are a pretty good deal. I know someone that gets a $2000 check every year. They've been with em for a long time but still. Charlie
