If anyone needs a good mortgage banker please go to: eloantc.com

    His name is Tom Corona
He understands the credit problems that can hinder someone from getting a home loan..

BTW, he is my dad so I know I am biased but he has helped several of my friends get loans and they also had credit problems. (Ficos in the 630's)

I just wanted to throw that out there if anyone needed help.

630 ficos, are not that bad in terms of getting mortgages. That much I do know. It's people with 500ish score that have the most problems getting mortgages.

My middle score was in 630s, and I didn't have to explain anything at all. If you have a year of good history (and no unpaid collections), you can get an FHA loan even in the 500s in some cases. You would have to do alot of explaining I'm sure. You can usually get better rates with FHA than with some of these "I work with people with problem credit." lenders that jack up your rates. There are some good ones out there though, but I would shop around anyway. Good Luck.
