Ok, first off this forum has been a great tool and has helped me immensely so thank you! Now I was just rechecking my reports and have found something rather interesting.

I had a car repo'd voluntarily it was a lemon, whatever, now I am stuck with it I know. So this is the breakdown -

Experian: Does not even show this account

Equifax: Shows this account under Closed Accounts. It was opened in 10/02- correct. The last payment was 8/03- correct. Then onto the little chart displaying the payment history. It shows all the payments were made ON TIME through 11/04- a full year plus 3 months after it reports above. Then it reports CO for Charge Off from 12/04 to present but it also shows in 2/06 and 8/06 that there were ON TIME payments. This is not the case at all. Are they doing this so they can continue to report on it? How should I handle this? I am trying desperately to get approved for a mortgage and this is the last little devil I need to deal with. Any and all advice is appreciated!!

Are they showing on time payments, or did the furnisher not report that month?
Secondly, EQ is reporting a Date of First Delinquency on the reports you get from them now. What is that date?

Is this data from a trimerge report, or have you gotten the separate reports form each bureau?

If it's a trimerge, get the individual reports first. It may be reporting differently.
