Kristi, how about the failure of due diligence by the big three when they willy nilly put on peoples' credit reports entries reported to them by NCO? People with NCO entries on their credit reports which in all fairness do not belong on their credit reports might have the right to file or join along in the filing of a class action against the big three.

Now MBA, most persons 'in the know', are aware of the CRA's crookedness and total disregard of any laws and regulations. Their sole concern is $$ with TransUnion being the worst of the lot.

They figure that they will always be able to bribe their way out of anything, and to this point they have been successful with at worst some nothing slap of the wrist for chump change, a nice show by the government to "demonstrate they are doing something".

WHEN you win your court case against NCO we shall see just how greedy and contemptous of the law the Credit Bureaus truly are. I feel that at least one, if not all three, will keep reporting the fraudulent information from NCO and any other collection service under investigation/lawsuit as long as they keep paying to report it.

And there will finally be the huge opening to put forth a massive class action lawsuit(s) that will leave the authorities no choice but to move against these immoral crooks, especially if they feel they will gain more political capital then the value of the bribes.
