charge offs - i think - are the easiest. settle for less than balance in exchange for removal of tradeline from your credit reports. get that in writing before you pay them a dime. i would recommend offering half of the balance and if you cant afford a lump sum, make monthly payments. this works on collections as well. this would also work on the unpaid judgments - except ask for the judgment to be vacated (removed) by the CA/OC. paid judgments - contact the courthouse that administered the judgments and see if you can get them "vacated" (removed) since they are now paid. (sometimes works, sometimes doesnt - depends on the courthouse) where i live, it doesn't cost you anything to do this and usually happens on paid judgments if you ask. and no, you dont have to have a violation on the CA/OC for them to do this.
i'm sure you already know this but dont do anything with the ones that are "paid as agreed" w/no late pays. on the accounts that have late pays (but aren't charged off) dispute w/the credit reporting agencies as never late.
no problem. its not as difficult as you would think. i'm in the lending industry and i still have to come to the web to find answers for some of my clients. ive had to fix errors on my husbands report (he's a junior) and in the last year his FICO went from 490 in march 2003 (w/a ton of errors) to 767 (as of the morning). keep us posted as to how it works out.
