BOX 2000 CHESTER, PA 19022-2000 ................................................ they included a second sheet wanting me to list the contact info of the credit repair company that is helping me... The problem is that there ISN't a Credit repair company helping me... is this a standard letter sent to everyone or will my disputes made online be trashed??
It's their way of fishing for information. Some people will fall for it and send the documents in. Don't. It will complicate matters further. It's really none of their business anyway. They just want to know about the credit repair companies out there so that they can be on the look out. Since a good number of them have popped up recently, they are looking for signs that they are being used.
It's a standerd letter they send out. I had good luke making the CRA a party infact and kept forwarding letters and updating the CRA during validation of creditors. I think the 2002 FTC law on CRA is a great thing that realy helps.
I got the same letter in the mail from TU. I didn't send it back. I printed out a copy of the dispute I did online just in case I need proof I disputed. TU hasn't marked the accounts in dispute, but I guess a lot of people had that problem. I have about a week left before the 30 days is up.
