AAA checks?

CHECKS FOR WHAT REASON???

 

I signed up for AAA recently and they didn't check any report. What permissible purpose would they have? You aren't applying for credit.

Now if you mean the AAA Platinum Plus card from MBNA, I would think what report they pull would depend on where you live. I am in MD and MBNA always pulls Equifax for me.

 

Maybe they want to know if you're at high, medium, or low risk of breaking down!
