Hello, I am literally at my wits end with these bozos that masquerade as a mortgage company and both my father and I are considering filing a lawsuit due to the handling of both our loans. At the very least we are contacting the AZ State Banking Commission to formally complain. Can anyone here please tell me if you have had any dealings with them and what your thoughts are about them? (They are excatly what the Devil himself visulazed when he considered writing home loans.) We are absolutely certain that we have them 'nailed' on several violations of the law. Now we just have to find an AZ lawyer who will take this case on contingency. Any suggestions? TIA!
Did you talk to the regional manager/operation manager of the bank? That is what we did when the agent FX up my sister's loan, 2 day closing the escrow, he told us the loan is NOT approved, when in fact he already run the CR, send a letter to confirm that to the seller etc etc..we send faxes, threat to sue them & file complain to BBB & all related agaency. 3 days after the original escrow date. a operation manager took over the case and handle it in 24 hours..
No. As far as I can tell Aames Home Loan isnt a bank, per se. They allready have my mortgage and they are s$&#*#* me with there and they are doing it to my dad on his mortgage too. Here is a brief rundown of the complaints we have with them: 1. Charging for LPI when acceptable homeownerâ??s policies are in place. 2. Claiming to reverse charges for LPI when the loan history doesnâ??t reflect reversals. 3. Refusing to disclose any relationship between Aames and the insurer they use for their LPI, Z.C. Sterling. 4. Refusing to transfer calls to supervisors and managers when requested. 5. Calling and using threats of immediate foreclosure (when your a day or two late) and abusive, foul language. 6. Forbidding us to record phone calls from them (We are in a 1 party state too) yet recording our calls to them. 7. Tacking on a few thousand in unexplained and/or undisclosed fees in the loan â?? ie: Western Union Processing Fee, Property Inspection Fees, Loan History Fees, Expense Advances, RPA Admin. Fees and Fax Statement Fees, etc. 8. Holding unapplied funds totaling several hundred dollars while claiming that we are severely behind on the payments. (What?!?) 9. Incoherent statements that detail nothing and leave you guessing as to what really happened on the loan. I have mounds of documentation and a couple of 'juicy' phone calls already taped. I'm just curious to see if there is anyone else here that has ever dealt with the Aames Home Loan nightmare too.
Have you consider contacting their Inv relation/ or Media Coordinator director...sometime they forward the complain to the RIGHT person instead of wasting time w/ the CSR whom dont really care... ---------------------------------- Investor Relations Aames Financial Corporation 350 South Grand Avenue, 43rd Floor Los Angeles, California 90071 Phone: 323-210-5311 Fax: 323-210-5551
