abbreviations on inquiries

    Does anyone know what some of these abbreviations next to some of my inquires mean. Ex. DTC- Time Warner Cable, AR- Capitol One, REA - First Point

    I DON'T KNOW~~DO A SEARCH ON IT...I SAID RURAL ELECTRIC ASSOCIATION

    Abbreviations - Equifax inquiries?

    REA is an inquiry used by a creditor to see how an account is being reported, not to locate a debtor.
    Just because it is a soft inquiry does not mean it doesn't violate permissable purpose.
