I applied for an AMEX student blue card less than 60 days ago, then tried to apply for the AMEX student green card (I heard it was easier to get because they could better control my spending). Naturally I was denied for both. Now, I hate having those two inquiries on my EQ file. But since I am disputing every single delinquency, most truly wrong (some not too verifiable!), and disputing the other inquiries with creditors, should I leave them? What I'm asking is: if my EQ file gets no delinquencies and two always current accounts, wouldn't AMEX reconsider? Or should I dispute the two inquiries, then reapply for something in a few months?
