? about generations credit card

    Is it true they dont report the tradeline to reorting agencys? and do they always verify the income/employment when applying?

    they verified for me too.
    If a paystub doesn't refelct all your income - they'll ask you to fax the first two pages of your last tax returns

    Hello There,

    Yes Generations did verify employment with me as well they will call and ask for human resources and since I am on salary and commissions they ask me to fax over last years tax return and they call me back at work to tell me that I was approve.... they are really nice people to work with.... good luck if you apply for one with them...

    THAT'S STUPID!!!

    So if you want to pay off a card that is LOWER, they WON'T do it???

    I had the same experience with them. I wanted to do a bt from an ATT card, about 10k. My TU report only showed a balance of 4k so they wanted to make sure that I wasn't just overpaying another card. They don' t mind doing BT's if you are reducing your debt load, they just don't want to do any backhanded cash advances for you.

    That's really NONE of their business if you want to "OVER BT" and then get a check or do another BT from the second card...I do it all the time...

    Actually, when I have wanted to avoid all the trouble of the balance transfer, I just do a cash advance at the bank. Then there are no questions asked.

    The APR is the same as for purchases, and the fee is only $2 no matter the size of the cash advance.
