Hello all. Earlier today I heard that legislation was recently passed in California that now allows a debtor to record a phone call with a creditor without the creditor knowing. I understand that California is a two-party state with the exception of this supposedly new law. Has anyone heard this too and if so, do you know where I can verify it? Thanks in advance, Big Bob
Call the California state Attorney General's office. Don't just take their word. Get the # of the law and the date it was signed into effect.
