Just wondering, what does it take to get an Amex card?

You can get a delta skymiles card with a FICO of 650 or higher, and convert it to optima platinum.

I think an Amex green charge card has similar requirements.

You need to make over 20,000 a year Blue cards seem to be the easest toget. A good report

Blue is NOT the easiest to get. Delta card is and maybe the green, but not the blue.

Anyone ever denied due to length of time since accounts opened (I have a couple of really new accounts) or ratio of balances (upside downin car loan)? Or anything similar? Thanks.

I had 4 accounts opened in last 6 months when I was approved for the delta card, so I don't think that is a restriction as long as you have a good score.

Does this card have to be paid in full each month?

I was approved for the Amex Green card with a CE score of 666 and denied for the Delta Skymiles card with a CE of 681.

who does Amex primarily pull. I see people giving Fico and Experian scores. I guess I need to go check millcbs site.
