I've been looking into the USDA rural housing direct loan, and it seems like it would be a good deal for me, however I have a couple questions. Anybody out there go with this program in the past? It states on the website that you must be without adequate housing. What does that mean? Do they inspect your present housing? Also, how do they figure the interest rate? I've seen a couple of people on here have mentioned like 3% rates. Is there a formula they use? And finally, how long did it take to be approved? Thanks for any and all help! rayray
