This may be an obvious answer but I just want to be certain. I have a paid collection status on my CR that has an incorrect account opened date. I have proof the date the account opened is 10/94, but the date showing on my reports is 7/92. Can I argue this for deletion by validation letter? Tks
DOLA is 2/2000. According to evil EXP, it won't drop off until 2/2006 anyways. I am trying to look for a route to get it deleted based on incorrect data. I have records indicating this account was opened 10/94, not 7/92, so I am thinking of requesting validation (even thought this is a PAID collection) first based on this. I just don't know how much water it holds. I mean, the information is incorrect right? And if it is incorrect, either the CRA has to delete it or correct it, based on investigation with the CA?
