I started Dv some months ago..Disputed online with all 3 CRAs...After disputing, I had several allegeded debts removed off my reports.. One CAs reporting was taken off EQ & Exp.. EQ had sent me the udated Info stating Deleted..Exp sent a statement saying it was updated but the following month it was removed..I check my report online today and see it was put back on Exp.. So my question is this. If you request DV and they cant DV and its removed. Can they turn around the next month and reinsert the same Tl that was just removed. Any Help would be appreciated
It appears that they can put the debt back. It happen to me. Every year I obtain my free report and there it is. so every year I have it remove.
If you also dispute thru the CRA, and if it is removed due to the CRA dispute, it should not be reinserted unless the CA specifically certifies it is accurate, and the CRA sends you a notice within 5 days of reinsertion. See FCRA. It is common for CRAs to fail in following this part of the law, so you may have to raise the stakes to get compliance. Does the CA claim they are putting it on intentionally, or does it just keep reappearing, and they claim they are not reporting? The CRA can block a TL from a CA if they keep reinserting.
