There is a line on my credit report for a BofA card, which was issued in 9/93. I was 17 at that time. Is this account legally enforcable?

I disputed with Experian under the rationale that I was 17, how could I have opened a credit card when I was a minor. Of course it came back "verified".

    Any advice?

    What did the bank say?

I haven't heard back from them yet. I disputed it with both the bank and the CRA (online) one week ago. Haven't gotten a green card back from the bank yet.

It will probably depend on state law whether the contract you made when you were 17 is enforceable. However, if you paid on this account after you were 18, and/or renewed this card at any time after you turned 18, it *might* not matter.

I'd ask this question at one of the law boards (e.g., freeadvice.com or lawyers.com).
