I'd like to start this thread not knowing much about which accounts will actually report a tradeline to an authorized user.

I can give a short list here, add as many new ones that you know for sure will report to an authorized users credit report.

    Target
    Mervyns
    Marshall Fields

Thats all I know for sure.

First USA is the same as Bank One, and Bank One does not report to AU... how are they reporting for you?

My mom added me to her 28k BankOne card a few months ago, and they are reporting to all three CRA's for me as "authorized user".

I'm in Louisiana, maybe that makes a difference... Who knows?

Chase and First USA/Bank One reported to Equifax, TransUnion & Experian.

And Citibank reported to Equifax & Experian only, not on TransUnion.

Then why did Bank One tell us that they don't report to AU?

They even said that if we wanted them to report that we needed my wife to become a co-applicant.

But she has only been an AU now for just about 6 or 7 weeks. Maybe in a couple more months they'll report?

    hmmm...

It only took about a month for mine to show up. My mom's card said First USA, but mine said Bank One. It's listed as First USA on my credit report.

Yes, I have a Meijer card & DH is an AU and it is reporting to all 3 of his. When I got the card my score EQ FICO was 690ish with 5 inquiries, 1 open collection, 1 au paid charge off and 3 positive tl's reporting.

MBNA only reports if you are married to the person.
