You don't owe them any money - never did. They have *bought* these old debts - as an investment - they then try to collect on them - that's how they make money. They don't care if they're already paid, or the SOL has expired - they just want money. They have no authority and no ground to stand on in court. You asked them for proof that you owe them money. They don't have any proof. There isn't any proof. They're breaking the law all over the place. You can get one of those little suction-cup recording devices at Radio Shack for a couple of dollars. It plugs into your tape recorder, and the suction cup goes on the phone. When you say you are recording her, do it!!! Then you can offer to play it back. Mess with her!! She is making your life miserable to get money you *don't owe* her. Give her a hard time!! What parasites these people are!! breeze
