Hello all. Now that my hubbies credit is back on track, I am now working on mine. I have run across an issue I am not sure how to deal with. I have an old account that is just about to come off report (7 years approaching in 2 months). As I was looking at my report, I have noticed it listed with 2 additional credit agencies, wrong dates, wrong account number, wrong amount, but all regarding the same owed company. So it is listed on my report 3 different times. I am afraid to waken a sleeping dog by disputing it as it is about to come off, but know the other two are completely wrong. How should I handle this?
I would wait until you are sure the 7 year reporting time has passed, then send validation letters and dispute as obsolete with the CRA's
