I removed all of my previous addresses and disputed a $70 NCO collection. Well they verified with a previous address and now my EQ report shows only one thing, the NCO collection, and the current address listed is the 5+ year old address NCO verifed with. This leads me to believe that my file is split. Do I need to do anything about this? Will EQ realize their mistake and fix it or what? I do find it pretty amusing that my one-collection CR has a better score than the real one!
Yep, you will need to handle it...I suggest a search on here for a contact, I can't think of their name. Sorry. This will require diligence!
Thanks jlynn.....I guess this situation requires a "DAMMIT!!!!" P.S. Apologies for the post. I first tried a search but only came up with posts about splits, but no remedies. This time I got the info I needed.
