How long after getting your 100 word statement do they have to include it?
I've pulled a Jlynn - (thank you for all your posts of wisdom) and sent a statement about their ineptness - just wondering how long until I see it! LOL

Oh dear, I would have to wade thru mounds of paper. I sent the request for the statement to be added on October 22nd. When did I post my success? LOL thats how long it took because you guys are always first to know!

I think it took around 60 days though. Life got in the way, and I was late getting around to harassing them some more :)

They never actually posted my statement. If you have Creditwatch, or something where you can see you soft pulls, look for pulls from the Legal Department, that might give you a clue.

Good luck! Let us know what happens...will be interesting to find out if I was a fluke and got lucky, or if its something we might get some mileage out of (at least til they figure it out) and shut us down.

Hey jlynn! The post was around 5 weeks ago. That's how long the first letter sat in my husbands truck before I found it - retyped it to have a current date and sent it off myself!!!!
I thought it was a great idea! I've got a negative TL on EXP that everyone else deleted right away. They have somehow managed to verify twice now. Procedural requests do nothing more than have them send me numerous copies of the one page paperwork that says the usual line they give out. If this doesn't work, I will file suit. It was delivered on Friday. I'll keep you all posted!

UPDATE - I called the SOB's up today. It takes 5 business days after receipt of letter to put into computer, then can take up to 48 hours to update (yet she says the computers update 4 times a day!) I plan on calling them on Tuesday to ask where my statement is! (i'm figuring they won't add it!)

Talked with Evil EXP today. They will said that they are reinvestingating the account. I informed them that is NOT what I asked for as they have done this twice and managed to verify when nobody else could. I stated again that I wanted my 100 word statement included in my report. I was told "We will not include your statement as it bashes our company"
I was also told that they will not connect me to any legal department or supervisor.
    The negative TL lingers on.........

Their registered agent will connect you to their legal department.

Thank You for the info. I've found the registered agent in my state - even called them. They said I can send them a letter and they will forward it to the appropriate department. I've decided to send them a summons instead. I will be filing on Monday. I've heard that EXP will generally bump it up to Federal Court. Yes, I'm a bit intimidated by that, but I will continue on with the battle. Anyone with any advice on burying them with pretrial motions or how this process works is appreciated.
