I have read that is is possible for a fee to have the bureaus call your creditors that do not report to them to have information added. I understand this info would not be updated. While my credit is looking better all the time I received 2 loans last year through a local small bank that does not report to the bureaus. I was able to get loans as a result of contact I made while doing computer work at the bank over the previous 5 years. I paid the loans back pronto. One was $1500 and the the second was $2600. I was never late, and made large payments both times--one was close to $350 and the other was a bit over $400. I would like to get this good information on at least one of my reports as I plan to apply for a mortgage this fall. Does anyone know how the info looks on the report, etc. Is this a legitimate means of improving a score?
