Does anyone have an address for the Capital One secured card?

My printer isn't working for me to print the an Application. When I just called to request application an automated recording asked me to enter my SSN. I only want an app to compare products/secured credit cards, not to give them an invitation to pull my credit report until *I* say they can, so I hung up. I've never been a customer, but I'll probably get a card. I called for an American Pacific Bank/AOL application, too, and although the call was automated they did not ask for my SSN just my address.

    TIA

This is the first of many questions I'll ask on my post bk journey.

I have 4 Capitol One cards and I send all payments to:

    Capitol One
    P.O. Box 60000
    Seattle, WA. 98190-6000

These accounts are unsecured, but I assume it's the same address.

Thanks for the info guys/gals. Platinum, I have a BOA app on its way to me. I understand Cap 1 has very nixed reviews with some fans and some not.

My daughter had a Cap 1 student card about a year ago and she mailed a payment late one time and Cap 1 didn't post the late until the following billing cycle so she was hit with over the limit and late fees. She paid in full early the next billing cycle (right after she received the bill) and Cap 1 didn't record the payment AT ALL so she was again hit with over the limit and late fees. *I* called Cap 1 a couple days later to get it resolved (they had found my daughter's payment). She cancelled the card the proper way in writing, cut the card in half and sent it back to Cap 1 in the next bill.

I swore I'd never deal with Cap 1 again but beggars can't be choosers (but they can be discriminating choosers).

    Have a good day!

I MUST warn you to avoid Bank of America at all cost. I obtained a secured BOA credit card, which they assured me would not be reported as "secured". Guess what? It IS being $#&*@ing reported as "secured" on all of my credit reports. This is not even addressing the fact that BOA has an overall philosophy of "skinning the sheep once" as opposed to the far more customer friendly "shearing the sheep many times" philosophy. I began to develop an eye-twitch, and thoughts of arson, so I switched banks, and closed all accounts with them. (I'm sparing you a bunch of other pathetic details.)

    ON ANOTHER NOTE:

I have a Capital One secured card right now. Here is the address:

    CAPITAL ONE SERVICES
    P.O. BOX 6000
    SEATTLE, WA 98190-6000

Further response - I'm definitely leaning toward cards that do not report as secured. My EQ and TU FICO and Exp scores are not that bad - average low 600's two months post bk without doing any cleanup, so I want to be choosy about who gets my CC business (for credit rebuilding). I also need to move in less than two years so I'll probably not get that great a rate when I apply for a mortgage. The good news is I should have at least a 25% - 50% downpayment so that should help some. B O A and Fleet (both apparently report as secured) do not have branches in my area.

    Thanks for the input.
