I see this often on mail I receive. What does this mean?

The sender is asking the Post Office for your new addres if there has been a change of address:
Call your local postoffice and let me know if I told you right!

To my knowledge, it means that if you have a forwarding addy registered at the post office, the PO will not forward the letter to you as it usually would, but rather return it to the original sender with the yellow forwarding sticker (with your new addy on it) attached. This is a cheap, easy way for a creditor to learn your new address if you've moved.

If you have moved and completed a change of address form with the USPS. A First Class letter will be forwarded to you at "no charge" and your new address will be sent to the mailer via a hard copy report or via electronic means. The change of address information is open for 12 months. Hope this helps!
