Hi, I'm a newbie and could really use some help with 4 collection accounts on my credit report. I have 2 small medical collections reported by 3rd part CA's for $52 and $118 respectively....DLA'a are both with in the past 2 yrs. Debt #3 is a $508 debt from a local bank turned over to collections with a DLA of 11/01 Debt # 4 is listed as a paid profit & loss from a credit union (they reported to the CRA, didnt utilize a CA) with a report date of 9/99. This debt originally resulted in a $2500 judement against me over 7 yrs ago....but that is no longer in the public section of my report and the balance due of the collection is reported as $0 even though I never paid on it! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The wife is expecting a 3rd child and we will soon outgrow our 2 bedroom apartment!
Hi Live, Welcome to the board. First you'll have a buncha homework to do. At the top of the first panel you'll see 4 posts; INTRO's and "hall of fame posts". Study those first. Then, once you have a little background you'll want to post each separate TL, (TradeLine) in a post of it's own. Time has proven this is the best way to get focused help and not get confused. .
