Which is better...to dispute online or send certified mail? I'm a first timer so I'm looking for advice. And also what do u recommend...do one CRA at a time or all together?

Personally, I've done all mine via CRRR snail mail except for name/address deletions which I phoned in.

This has worked well for me and creates a paper trail in case you need to go to court.

I've been reading about peoples successes with the ONLINE process and they seem to like the fact that it is "instantly" in dispute.

It's all about what you need and where you're going.
basically, whatever works for your particular needs.

I think both are ok and have their own advantages. CRRR is a more traditional paper trail (the internet is a new thing especially to courts and establishing proof)...yet some disputes get "lost in the mail" and you never seem to get that CRRR back. Online disputes never get lost in the mail, they get entered directly...and faster (no snail mail), just make sure you PRINT out the screens because you may need the documentation for the paper trail you lost by not sending them CRRR.

I tend to recommend that you switch off...that way you don't get bored :) and the disputes seem to "dig their way in there" :))

...but mostly (especially if you augment online and CRRR with faxes throughout)...if/when you have to go to court you can say "Your honor, I tried EVERY means available to me, to get them to correct their mistake, and yet they failed to do so"
