I about to send the letter out to a CA for a run out SOL account back in 97, and the name they have dont even match my fisrt name. Should I... 1) Send a validation letter ,..or 2) Send a letter of Cease & desist ..or 3) Send a Letter telling them is not mine & SOL is run? 4) Or all the above 5) Or just ignore cause the names dont match my documents? Thanks in advance for any imput! REy
Bz.. Do you mean all togther?? Or send validation first..after 30 day send the C&D & SOL run ltter??? It would be challege to combined all that info in one ltter..haha Thanks for your time!
Logically thinking, if the account is not yours how would you know that the SOL has run out? If its not yours, who cares if it within SOL or not? You would not pay it even if it was. Just pondering...
Send a validation letter, and tell them that is not your name, they must have the wrong person. If I recall, they sent you info on this account...am I right? If not, don't mention SOL yet. If so, then tell them even if you were sure it was yours, you would not pay because the SOL is up.
I only have accnt number on this..after several dispute, the only CRa that reports it is Experian. It seems like Experian is the one often refuse to take themoff, the EQ & TU only took 2 letters, but Exp...forever...
