I sent validation letters to Creditch and NCO for utilities and an ambulance bill. Have not heard back from Creditech as of yet (they have 10 more days), but NCO sent me a letter with printout copies attached showing my name and some dates. Is this proper validation? It looks to be a print out from the utility companies files, perhaps. I thought they had to show something with my signature on it? Am I correct in assuming this? What is my next step? Estoppel? And what if I don't hear back from Creditech - send them one as well? These are the only two things that I have to get rid of to close on a mortgage - I've been preapproved, but have to get rid of these. Also, the broker said if I can't get rid of them they have someone in the office that can help - anyone ever heard of this - they seemed to know what they were talking about. I'd like to do it on my own, though. Sorry so long - any and all help/advice would be appreciated.

They appear to be faxed copies of screens from the OC. One lists all the occupants in the household (myself, my fiance, my son), with DOB for each and SS# Another shows an income maintenance screen with my previous employer listed on it, yet another shows my current address with my old landlord and her address listed as landlord and the last thing is a copy of what appears to be a printout of a lot of people and their possibly meter reads with my name circled. I've never paid NCO or set up payment arrangements with them. Advice please? Is this proper validation? Should I pretend I never received it an send an Estopell? Any advice/guidance would be appreciated. I really want to be able to close on a mortgage soon and these have to come off. Thanks so much!

Oops, almost forgot - the DOL on the printout is 3/13/97, if that makes difference.
