In my credit report I have several accounts that read, date for removal in January 2008 or account is scheduled to continue on record untill January 2008. My question is when I run my report if they are still on it, how should I go about.......... lets say, reminding them without any red flags?

As Hedwig suggested, you should wait until the end of January to pull your reports to see if it is deleted. If the account is still there, dispute as "Past Reporting Statute of Limitations" or "Obsolete".
