Ok, received all three reports back from the credit bureaus and let me tell you this is a mess. I have one credit bureau that has removed most of my disputes and the other two didn't. Two make a long story short, two of my credit reports have something in common and the other is doing its on thing. So, do I request validation on the ones thats left or just try and dispute them again.

    "Adviced " - I never knew advice was a verb :)) LOL j/k

You need to provide more information in order to answer this. For instance, the FDCPA does not providefor validation to OC's only third party collectors. So we need to know the owner of the debt before we can answer. Also the state you live in and the date these accounts went delinquent, are needed pertinent information.

You should ONLY attempt validation after reading a bit more of this board...jumping in can be dangerous.

If you want a simple answer with the information you provided, I would say that disputing again is an option that I would take. I disputed my listings 3, 4, some even 5 times before I tried validation.

    Good Luck

Dave thanks for the advice. The accounts are Providian, Merrick Bank, and a couple of collection accounts but, they are scattered out between credit report.

Dispute the listings with the 2 other CRA's

Send validation letters for the collection accounts that are past SOL.

Again work from oldest to most recent.

For the OC's (Providian & Merrick Bank) are they current or ex? If they are current, you could try the good will approach. If ex, you could try the nutcase approach. Both are outlined in the FAQ.

    Good Luck
