AFCA? Are they still around?

I have had a Visa with AFCA for about 5 years. I am in the process of closing my bank account at one place and have opened one somewhere else. When I tried to contact AFCA to change my information, all of the numbers that I have are now operated by other companies, some of which told me that AFCA is no longer in business! If this is true, why have they continued to automatically deduct their fee from my checking account? If they are still in business, how can I contact them. I have searched the internet and phone books, with no luck. What's going to happen if I just close my old bank account?

Perhaps the company changed hands and is known under another name?

Try contacting VISA directly at askvisa@visa.com

Their web site http://www.visa,com lists the various U.S. offices but it very careful not to list phone numbers. Also try 1-800-555-1212 or http://www.555-1212.com

Is this perhaps related to AFCA?

Richard I use to deal with AFCA. There were in the process of going out of business. It took me 4 months to get a refund from them. Their headquarters is located in Colorado. If you search the online yellow pages and search the Colorado area, you will find their headquarters. Or you can contact the Better Business Bureau in Colorado, they will also try to assist you. I am glad that they went out of business.

I have a number and they're always calling me to either pay up their 90 day cancellation or go to collection. The number is 1-800-450-2322. Good luck.
