Received a letter from some company I never heard of which is notarized. The letter states that they are now the owners for Unifund CCR Partners. Their name is FAN Distributing Co. Is this legal? Do I now have to deal with them? All this is new to me trying to figure out the ins & outs of credit reporting stuff...... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Did you buy a "FAN" and not pay for it??? ($10.97 @ WAL*MART)... They MUST tell you what is owed and why. They also MUST prove you are the one who owes it.
