If anyone ever wants to e-mail AFNI, the email address for the Pres/CEO is brucegriffin@afninet.com. the VP of Credit and Collections email address is JohnODonnell@afninet.com
Why would you use e-mail, over sending certified? If you want to communicate with the top officers of a company, presumably you want to either notify them of improper activities by their minions, or try to reach some other agreement, short of suing. In either case, your next step might need to be to sue, so you would want proof that any communications were received.
would sending a "read-receipt" notification work in this situation to justify that the other party opened the email?
Why? Lawyers and judges understand Certified. It is what they would use if it mattered. What are you trying to accomplish, and what will you have to do if that doesn't work? Are there any issues where you would want to be able to show in court that you requested validation in writing on such and such a date?
