Does anybody else do this? Since I got the BK deleted from my Exp...I've been afraid to go after my last remaining item anymore...it's like I don't want to rock the boat...Tell me I'm not the only one. LOL

I have another situation like that, too. It's with an account listed (my last) on EQ...it's paid..I paid it the day before they got a judgement (they received it the day before but went to court anyway)..for a while the judgement was showing...then it disappeared and now the paid chargeoff is all thats left...I want to work on it but I'm afraid to rock that darn boat.....(more like a canoe)..(wait, maybe a raft? a plastic one...no wait, styrofoam)..

    NO BK...

After the AMERICAN EXPRESS BLUE removal when I asked for the CREDIT LIMIT BE STATED...I'm leery about asking for ANYTHING...

    YES!,

I won't touch my last item on Ex for a bit for that reason (well not the BK but fear of other things appearing) and that it was re-verified so vigorously last time (NOT).

MOSTLY I am glad TU is clean, I would not want to dispute another item there AT ALL...the last round they were deleting things at random...positives negatives...Now on TU I look like I was born 2 months ago and never had credit, not even a phone.

Equifax...I am disputing like mad. Take no prisoners!

As for rocking the boat...I am still seasick from watching you bob up and down on that lounge raft in your cement pond :))

    -Peace, Dave

PS did you get one of those signs saying "Welcome to our ool. We left the P out, please keep it that way." I just love those signs.

George and Nave: Thanks for coming aboard my thread, mateys! (sp?) Where's the bottle of Rum??

Nave, you are too much! No, I had forgotten about that sign...now I'll have to find one for sure!! Me and Jethro were out bobbing around the cement pond today thinking life was just as fine as a possum's butthair..
(I have no idea what a possum's butthair is like nor if they even have any but it sounded hillbilly, right?)
Anyway...I'm glad I'm not the only one.....thank you both!

    George I hear ya man!
After the Amex rep. closed my paid account in June. I disputed the balance at Equifax. They deleted the whole account and score dropped 29 points.
The thing is an account exec. at Amex got it reinstated with a new number and higher balance last week. So, will my EXP. and TU. show two accounts or just the reinstated one?

There is a SUPERVISOR GROUP @ AMEX called M.O.R.E., if it doesn't come back the first week of SEPTEMBER...I will call them.

    Hello,

I could not help but notice your reference to a Supervisory Group at AMEX? Can you tell me how to contact this group? I have a AMEX Corporate Card charge-off on my credit reports that I would like to discuss with someone in authority at AMEX. The charged-off amt was posted to the account 2 months after it was closed. I am willing to settle it in return for AMEX changing the charge-off status to paid. But no-one in customer service will talk to me because supposedly the account has been assigned to an external collection agency. However, interestingly enough, AMEX is willing to accept a payment from me. How do I get around the low level customer service reps to someone in authority who can negotiate with me and change the status of the account? Perhaps the M.O.R.E supervisory group can assist me. Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide

The AMEX M.O.R.E. SUPERVISORS' group is made up of SUPERVISORS...NO low level CSR'S...

    George,

Thanks for your reply. Do you have any contact information for the M.O.R.E Supervisory group (phone numbers, addresses, etc)? Could I contact them directly or would I have to be forwarded to them from customer service?

    Matt

1-800-947-8192 (don't know where this office is located)...

...Some of the AMEX offices were a block or two from the WTC and may/may not be available...
