I filed Ch 7BK in 11/02 and was discharged 2/03. Before reading here, I disputed charge-offs as â??included in bankruptcyâ? on all 3 CRAs. I have several that have been verified in 3/04 and are still listed as Charge offs. These were included in the bankruptcy. What do I do now? Here are two of them: #1 Status: Account charged off/Past due 90 days. $10,046 written off. $7,815 past due as of 3-2004. Status Details: This item was verified and updated on 3-2004. Account History: Charge Off as of 3-2004, 11-2000 Recent Balance: $7,815 as of 03/2004 #2 Status: Account charged off/Past due 120 days. $4,878 written off. Status Details: This item was verified on 4-2004 and remained unchanged. Account History: Charge Off as of 8-2002 I have read and read and feel completely overwhelmed. Experts out there, please help!!!!! What are my next steps?
I read that on here before and the funny thing is that is EXACTLY what my BK attny said to do. I didn't though. Should I call or write the creditor?
