    Hi everyone ....

I sent estoppel to CA after waiting more than 30 days for response to validation request. i still haven't heard from them -- what next?

so i am a little confused about what the CA must tell the CRA when they verify the debt with them after a validation request has been made. when i made the validation request, the the tradeline on EX was marked to NO STATUS and the personal comment was marked that i said the debt was in dispute according to the FBCA. On EQ, it's still marked as overdue 120+ days and says in personal comment area that I said the debt was in dispute according to the FBCA.

I then sent letters to EX and EQ asking them to reinvestigate based on the fact that CA couldn't validate with me (and mailed copies of my letters and the green cards). Now here's my confusion: what does the CA have to tell the CRA when they are asked to verify a debt that is in validation? Do they just have to tell them it is in dispute?

and if so, if the thing is already marked dispute, then what do they have to tell them? just confirm again that it is dispute? when is there a violation -- if they verify without stating it's in validation?

    thanks

It sounds like you've done what you need to at this point. You sent your proof into the CRAs. You need to wait until you hear back from them.

ok thanks --- what if they verify again?

also, after estoppel to CA, should i sent ITS if I don't head back them from them?

the CA is AFNI or Anderson Financial Network --- has anyone had experience with them that indicates whether they are often willing to delete?

    thanks

My wife had Anderson FNI on her Equifax and Experian from an old Dish Network account she didn't pay because they never could make the service work. On Equifax it showed up as a CA, but on Experian it showed as a regular creditor.

We got it deleted from Equifax on the 2nd or 3rd attempt. We're still working on EXP.

Are they listed as AFNI or Anderson Financial Network. Anderson is their old name and they no longer have a license for an agency with that name. They have a license for AFNI. I'm curious about that because ther FDCPA says CAs are allowed to ONLY use their official name.

    thanks
