just a quick question, has anybody ever noticed that elderly people tend to get fewer promtional credit offers? I ask because my father and I have simular FICO scores mine 700 his 725 i am 35 he is 73 yet i seem to get way more preapproved offers. T hanks
Nope. My dad gets preapproved offers almost daily. I, on the other hand, have gotten about 2 in the last 6-7 months.
If someone is smart enough to have their credit reports closed to unauthorized inquiries,or on a fraud alert, the solicitations dry up.
That's right, but that is not my situation. I did not opt out specifically because I wanted to get preapproved offers. But for some reason, the offers stopped.
I only get CAPITAL ONE offers for the GOLD card @ $72.00/year... I have lots of PRM'S on credit reports...but NEVER get any offers... As far as not getting any offers when somebody is over 60 or 70...MY MOTHER IS 70+ AND SHE GETS MORE OFFERS THAN I DO...
