How old does one have to be to get a credit card? Is there a minimum age?

    18. Contracts signed by minors are unenforceable. If you are under 18 you might be able to get a credit card if your parent(s) co-sign, but more likely the bank would give your parent(s) the account and you'd be an authorized user.
