Re: WestCap Replies As one of the "newbies" let me just say that I am really thankful for this board and all the advice that I have gleaned from folks here. I really appreciate folks who answer my questions and respect my ability to look at all of the information provided and make my own decisions regarding rebuilding and restoring my credit. I must say, however, it becomes a gut wrenching decision every time I want to post a question.... will i get a real answer, will billbauer give those answers that are not really answers..... will bill and bkev start this sh&# again, will i ever get an answer....???? Please, for all of you who are concerned about combining your citi cards, upgrading to platinum and balance transfers at 0%..... there are a bunch of us who are still working on providian and cap one cards... and would be pleased as punch for a target guest card... As I dwell in the basement of the "500" club, I don't have an answer for how to resolve this. I just hope we can move on so I CAN GET SOME HELP!!!

Re: WestCap Replies Uniondiva, When I came to this board in August 2001, I begged the credit gods for one more chance at unsecured credit. I got my wish, and multifold. I got Target. Orchard. MBNA. Citibank. AMEX. A lot of disputing, persuasion, and I'm almost done. I started off with 3-5 derogs on each report, and only a smattering of decent history. Today I have nearly $25,000 of credit. This is for someone who couldn't get a savings account in July. Now I have two savings accounts and two checking accounts. If you have a specific need, please ask me.
