I remember a few years back I was able to check all 3 of my fico scores at once and report. I can't for the life of me find that anywhere now. Everything is so confusing and the only thing I can find is myfico but its only transunion and experian. Plus they want $20 for each. I want to be able to check anytime I want. Why do they make it so hard!! Any help would do. Looking to see my true reports and scores.
FICO doesn't even sell Experian-based scores to consumers anymore. You can only get your TU and Equifax-based FICO scores via myFICO.com Unfortunately, I don't know of any product that will provide unlimited pulls of your FICO scores and credit reports. You can of course get all 3 of your credit reports for free from annualcreditreport.com, and FICO does offer a free trial of its Score Watch product which will give you a free peek at your Equifax-based FICO score.
I guess I got equifax and experian mixed up. I know it was one of them with a "E". I went to annual credit report 5 days ago. I only got one score and I think I had to pay to see the others. But they should really do something about that though because I don't think it's fair at all to be left in the dark. I totally believe they want us to fail at credit so they make it difficult for the public.
Remember that the scores the credit bureaus will sell you via annualcreditreport.com aren't real FICO scores either. They are the bureau's own "FAKO" scores. If you want to see a real FICO score, you should only get them via myFICO.com.
You can go to Creditchecktotal.com. These are not your real fico scores either, they provide "fako" scores but at least you can see all three bureaus. At creditchecktotal.com you can sign up for a trial period for $1, but you must call and cancel their service in 7 days or they will start charging you $29.95 per month. Thanks! There seems to be several services like this on google. Which companies are you using and are happy with? One company offers a new tri merge report with scores every 30 days which seems reasonable. I think it was $19.95 but I'll check again. (Freescore.com run by TU) They all seem elusive with their actual pricing after the trial. (The teeny tiny print on page 45.) Identity Guard (run by Equifax) is $3 for 30 days for all 3 then $14.95 but I can't find how often you get an updated report. TU/True Credit only updates every 90 days. The list goes on an on....any user reviews would be welcome. USAA seems to have a good deal. Thanks! PS haven't been on in a long time and curious where things are in the credit world since the dust is settling around me. haha
If you want to see your real FICO scores, don't choose any of them. However, for daily access to credit reports, I would check out USAA credit monitoring which is only $12.25 per month.
