Am I out of options

Need some help out what my next step should be. I made the mistake of paying a medical collection before I found this board. In an effort to get this paid collection off my reports I disputed as not mine, and it was verified.

Then I sent a validation letter and redisputed. The CA responded to my validation letter with the paperwork from the service provider that is signed by my wife and has me listed as the responsilbe party (patient is my minor daughter), They also sent me a form that I filled out and sent to the OC setting up monthly payments that was signed by me.

Any suggestions on how I can continue to be a thorn in the CA's side?

First of all, how old is the debt in question?

You have apparently dug a very deep hole for yourself and it will be tough to get rid of it indeed unless you just happen to luck out.

One of the determining factors might be to start disputing individual charges on their billing which you got from them if indeed what they sent you had any such information included.

How long has it been since you got that paperwork from the CA?

Assigned to CA on 7/02. I received the paperwork from the CA last week.

Bill, I didn't receive any individual charges. Rather a statement of payment history on the account.

I did notice that on the statement from the OC they have my first name slightly mispelled. Is this an angle worth exploring?

Then they did not comply with your validation demand. That means they violated FDCPA by failing to supply you with the demanded information.
    probably not.

Great. So my next step should be an estoppel letter? Or would you suggest a different approach?

That is one option that can be chosen after the 30 days after the date on the green card has passed.
