Thank you Bob!!!! Finally, an answer to this perplexing question. Can you make a separate thread for this. Many people of late have been running into this exact issue.
I find it rather frustrating that people can be sued and not have a clue about the mechanics of the process, and lose because of that.
It is an inequitable rule for certain. My inclination is that it may not withstand judicial muster should anyone ever challenge it on procedural due process grounds.
