EXPERIAN DELETED ONE OF TWO INQUIRES FOR CITIBANK...(I should have disputed both of them)...

    I used EXPERIAN on-line...

Go back and dispute the other one. Hell....dispute all inquiries that didn't result in an account being opened! That's what I did. I have gotten like 15 inquiries removed. They only didn't remove 1 (the duplace inquiry that Fireside placed). That one they claim came back verified! Whatever...

The only inquiries I have not got removed are the ones from my mortgage broker on TU and EX I now have only 4 inquiries total.

and all the ones on Equifax....well I might Have to sue..

I recently got turned down by sears.

    reason 1 code.
to many inquiries last 12 months.

well they pulled EQ and my only inquires were:
4 inquires for my mortgage in july (shouldnt it count as one)
3 Inquiries from ford motor credit in April ( same dealer should count as one also?)
and 1 from So. California Gas...??
    and 1 from Providian...

    Thats it..
so I guess 4 in 12 months is too many..

    ugh...

Yeah right!! Their little story about the score recognizing rate shopping is hogwash.

Mom got 4 inquiries when when she bought her car. USAA FSB who turned her down, Chrysler 2 and the dealership 1. Other than that she has 3 inquiries for the past year. She gets that as reason #1 on her score - which has gone down considerably. It was around 705, now it's 651.
