Hi, Just a note about a recent scuffle I had with that agency. I recently disputed a collection account as not mine and nicely got a verification which included re-aging the account. I faxed a threatening letter to them stating I knew what they did, and it's highly illegal - well today I look at my Transunion and poof it's gone off the face of the earth. It feels good to take control like this -Sal
Oh yes Kbanger - Saturday I received a letter from they're "customer relations division" They said you have a collection account from Sears account # xxxxxxxxx and you have a collection from The Money Store account # xxxxxxxx (WTF I've never dealbt with those slime!!!!) Now I think I will send validation requests to them just to be sure they don't try sticking anything on my reports. -Sal P.S. what have you been doing pertaining to those multiple inquiries they have been placing on your reports?
This company is a problem. look at www.bbb.org and you will see this company always do unethical business practices. It did with me . That's why I filled law suit against them in the small claim court in my state. you may consider doing so in order to teach this joker a good lesson.
Sal I am still trying to fry some bigger fish on my reports, but rest assured, I have not forgotten those BASTARDS.
They are paper tigers. They caved on my first dispute with the CRA. I disputed a second one with the BBB and they tried to tell them they needed 4-6 weeks to get the paperwork. Yeah, right!
Mhoss... If you have already filed suit against them, why are you asking in another thread what you can do about them reaging the account? Obviously you know what is going on and your legal rights. Why ask about simple things like validation?
rblues because I did not face the court yet and I was not even sure that reaging an acct is not legal. The reason I sued them because I do not have any clue about the account they want me to pay them for. Also if I know my opponents weak points, it will be easier for me in the court.
