I just signed up for the Amex bank account, got an email saying it was pending, but called the number and it gave me a bank account number. Their standards must be pretty lax on bank accounts for them to give me one. I also applied for a loc, but got the no accounts associated message, that must mean denial (I expected it, my EX score is 530 lol couldn't hurt though if it really is a soft inquiry) Anyway, I applied and 2 minutes after the pending message I called in and the bank account already had a number. I am very, very happy with my current bank, love that Net Bank. I also have Amex insurance, will a bank account or insurance help any with trying to establish some kind of credit with them?
