Has anyone who had AMex on bk, post bk been able to make a deal with them to get a card. If so how much on the dollar did you strike.
After 7 years. This is of course assuming you never BK'ed on them or had an unpaid collection or chargeoff with them.
no i mean i did chap 7 on them. now its 0 but i did owe them money.. how can i convince them to give me another card
I thought I read in another thread on this board that Amex will blacklist you for eternity. The poster said that that if they repaid their debt, Amex would *consider* their app but there was no guarantee. I had Citi on my BK. I will probably never see a Citi card again.
DanS is right. You will need to repay and go through a 1 year waiting period after the payoff. If left unpaid, getting an AMEX card will be impossible.
