Beware Amex As I've stated in a previous post . . . beware of American Express in your transactions with them. I have had frightening experiences with both their poorly training and ill-informed customer service personnel - and their slipshod procedures. Document everything in writing, get the individual's name and location when you call. Also, send everything to them via certified mail. To deal with them - treat them like they treat you if you owe them money - Call Frequently and Stay Firm. Hey, its the world we live in. As a consumer you're vunerable and there is little if any recompense when large firms are negligent.
