I just received my American Express Blue Cash card and the balance transfer rate they are offering me is 5.9% until paid. On the application it said that I would receive a balance transfer rate as low as 2.9%. That was the main reason that I applied for this card. Does anyone have any suggestions how I can get American Express to lower the rate to 2.9%. I thought about calling the more dept but I can't find the number so if anyone could provide me with the number it would be very helpful. Thanks!
